Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between your business and the company that runs Cekira.
1. Who we are
Cekira is provided by MASA SOLUTIONS LLC, a limited liability company formed in Wyoming, United States (“we”, “us”). “You” means the business that uses Cekira. If you accept these terms for a company, you confirm that you may bind it. Our privacy policy, data processing agreement and refund policy are part of these terms. By using Cekira or buying a plan, you accept them.

Cekira, including the free Invoice Maker, is for use in a trade, business or profession, whether as a company, freelancer or sole trader. By creating an account or buying a plan, you confirm that you are acting for business purposes. Laws that protect only consumers, such as the EU's 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase, therefore do not apply. If you are not acting for a business, please do not use Cekira.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. Workspace owners are responsible for the people they invite and for their use of Cekira.
4. Your data
Everything you put into Cekira remains yours. You allow us to store and process it only to provide Cekira to you and the people you share it with. You are responsible for having the right to use it, including any personal data about other people, which we handle under our data processing agreement. You can export your invoices as PDF and your work records as CSV at any time, and we will send you a full copy of your workspace data on request.
We own the Cekira software and brand. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.
5. Invoices and tax
Cekira creates the documents you describe. It does not check them against any country's invoicing or tax law, and we do not give accounting, tax or legal advice. You are responsible for your invoices, their tax treatment and your records. AI-assisted imports can make mistakes, so check what they read before relying on it (see how imports work).
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Cekira to:
- do anything unlawful or fraudulent, such as creating false invoices;
- upload malicious files or content you have no right to use;
- access other people's data, bypass security or exceed your plan's limits;
- overload or disrupt the service, or resell it as your own;
- serve a country or person subject to comprehensive US sanctions or on a US restricted list.
Services you connect, such as Google or Linear, are run by their own companies under their own terms.
7. Plans and payments
Plans and limits are listed on the pricing page. The 15-day trial needs no card and never turns into a paid plan by itself. Trial and free Invoice Maker exports carry a Cekira watermark; exports on a paid plan do not.
You buy your plan from MASA SOLUTIONS LLC, and Stripe processes the payment. Prices are in US dollars; taxes are added at checkout, which shows the total before you confirm. Plans renew every month or year until you cancel, and you authorise us to charge your payment method at each renewal. The app shows the cost and effect of any plan change before you confirm it. If a renewal payment fails, you have seven days to fix it before paid access ends. When a trial or plan ends, your workspaces become read-only, and your records stay available to read and export.
We give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of an existing subscription, and you can cancel before the new price applies. Existing users with free or beta access get at least 30 days' email notice before that access is reduced, and are never charged without an explicit purchase.
8. Cancelling and leaving
Cancel at any time in Settings → Plan & billing → Manage billing, or by emailing support@cekira.com. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again. Payments are not refunded, except as described in our refund policy. Cancelling does not delete your account; to delete it, email us.
If the EU Data Act applies to you and you are moving to another provider, you may end your plan on up to two months' notice, and we will help you take your data with you at no charge.
9. Suspension
We may suspend or close an account for a serious breach of these terms, a security risk, non-payment or a legal requirement. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and let you export your data. If we close your account for another reason or stop offering Cekira, we will give you notice and refund any unused prepaid fees.
10. Warranty and liability
We provide Cekira with reasonable care. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, Cekira is provided “as is”, without other warranties, express or implied.
Neither of us is liable for indirect losses or lost profits. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or EUR 100 if that is more. These limits do not apply to liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for fraud or gross negligence. You are responsible for claims against us caused by your content or by your unlawful use of Cekira.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, United States, and disputes go to the courts in Wyoming. Laws that apply to your business regardless, such as data protection law and the EU Data Act, are unaffected. If you have a problem, please email us first so we can try to solve it.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change reduces your rights, we will email you at least 14 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then. The English version of these terms prevails over any translation. Questions: support@cekira.com.
